Pretty Packaging for Poor Product

Microsoft has released its juicy design for the new Windows Vista. It’s sleek, hard plastic, and long lasting.

Windows Vista Packaging compliments Windows Team Blog My thought: It is a nice sentiment for those of us who exceed our two usage limit for the product. It is something you can hang on to afterwards as a memento of the money you shelled out for a mediocre product. A beautiful reminder that you should never judge a product by its packaging.

This little piece of work out of Russia has me wondering about them…seriously. This newBlasphemous MP3 Player Saint B MP3 player hangs around your neck while spitting out your favorite tunes. It has a USB port on the bottom for easy upload of your songs, and a stylish black gloss cover, with some silver bling adorning the sides.

So far, it’s just a concept piece. We shall see what comes to pass with this little doodad.

I’m not mad. I upgraded the very minute it was evident that the new version was released. It is faster, more stable, and a sweet deal all over. I am waiting for 2 of my extensions to be upgraded to work with this version of Firefox, but other than that Mozilla has done right by me and I expect that the next release will be even better. Kudos to you Mozilla!

Now if Microsoft could get their act together, they might have a fighting chance. Already two flaws have been found within their system…and don’t forget that my prediction about the hack came true for Vista.

Posted on October 27th, 2006 in Computer Tech, Practical Tech by Bulletz

It has been this way since the beginning of invention, people take cues from nature then expand upon it. There is a word for this now: biomimicry. I don’t get why it’s such big news now, though. Probably because they are finally looking to nature to fix the energy and fuel problems we are having across the world. They are also finally getting into the ways that nature cleans and heals itself.

Natives have known this for centuries, and their knowledge was dashed to the four winds. It seems that now the scientists are going to be seeking their counsel if we are to sustain and try to reverse the affect that humans have had on natural global systems.

Just hope that it’s not too late.

Since the first time we had a robo-pet on the scene, they have been coveted by many people the world over. This particular one is highly functioning, but not very pleasing to they eye.robo dog compliments radioshack.com

Despite it’s not so cute features, it has received rave reviews and is on sale right now for only $29.99. It is remote controlled and intended for users 8 years old and above, but I am sure that it will be easy enough for a younger child to master. If it was more aesthetically pleasing, I might consider getting it for a child in my life.
