Microsoft giving in to the consumer

With the recent wave of shoppers who were lucky enough to buy an XBox 360 came a wide range of issues for this newly released console. So many errors and complaints have come through, in fact, that Microsoft has just extended the warranty on the machine to a full year. This also means that anyone who bought the ill-fated machine at its first release and paid for repairs is entitled to a reimbursement.
Nintendo and Sony won’t be found caught in that same predicament as they already have a year warranty in place for the Wii and Playstation 3 systems. It’s a shame that it took a petition for Microsoft to realize that they needed to do something fast.
