Vehicle Mileage Estimates Get Majorly Adjusted

You can expect that 2008 will bring you quite a bit of sticker shock when you go to purchase a new vehicle. Seems that the mileage estimates are being drastically adjusted. Even the hybrid will get hit…and hard. You can expect to see a decrease of at least ten miles per gallon for each car on the lot.

It’s such a shame that they aren’t taking into consideration the benefits of the electric cars. What will happen to pricing in 2008? Only the car dealers can know that. For now, enjoy living in the bliss of thinking that your car gets 55 miles to the gallon until 2008 when it will probably only be slated as getting about 44.
