Skype for businesses

Skype has begun targeting businesses in a big way. They are adding more and more features that will benefit the business function of any company.

With their new 3.0 version software we gain the ability for system administrators to control and configure Skype for an entire company. Skype is giving the companies Internet telephony, messaging, file transfer, and video conferencing.

Skype is still working out the kinks in their system. There is the potential for Skype to penetrate firewalls and open up your system to malware. They are working on getting these issues fixed by reverse engineering the system so as to rid their system of these pests, but the work continues.
