Mixed reviews over iPhone

Apple’s iPhone is no longer a rumor. It actually exists. It is beautiful with a touchable interface. But is the look enough to carry it over? It has an amazing number of features that are in high demand. The price is pretty high at $499 for 4 GB and $599 for the 8GB models. There are all kinds of functions, one being that most of your numbers have to be on speed dial since the keypad is not readily accessible.
Some people are agog at the features and usability, while others are not so enthusiastic. It has been said that the Internet speed is like that of a dial-up modem. It’s not a smart phone, so no one can use any second or third party software with the system. That’s right… only Apple for Apple.
In the short run, it might be okay for those one track mind users who need all the functions but don’t care to reach outside the Apple core, but for others it will be a hassle and a pain.
