Skype has just announced that it is going to be getting into Internet Television broadcasting. It seems to be something that will be very lucrative for them in the long run, as most companies are beginning to amp up the market on internet television gadgets. It will be free for all users and is touted to be piracy-proof. They took Joost, the Mozilla based platform, and decided to turn it into gold. The platform is interactive, where you can add and modify elements of what you are watching. You can check out test version of the platform on Joost.com. They are planning to take on the big boys like YouTube and the ever popular Myspace videos.
