Video Brochures: A whole new dimension in Marketing

Monday, February 26th, 2007

Small businesses should definitely take a look at this. You can now utilize popular video sites like YouTube, Google, and Myspace to broadcast a movie brochure. It’s a new innovation in getting your product or service out there even further. Marketing Small Business’s movies can also be offered on the ever famous iPod and embedded into a website. The project cost is under $500 but the residuals off of that are priceless. This small investment could mean big bucks in a short time for your company.

It’s a market that is relatively untapped. The major point in getting this type of project done is that you are not only getting your business noticed, people who like it will then email the video to their friends. They will tell others about it in their circles. They will even download it to their iPods and show it off to people at parties and functions. The possibility for exponential growth is there. It’s a matter of making the leap to get the brochure done and having it available to the millions who use these online video resources on a daily basis.

I have a background in advertising, myself, and I can already see the value of this service. As soon as I read about it I had to let people know.

Digital Deadlines Looming

Monday, February 26th, 2007

As of March 1, manufacturers have to have all their analog hardware and knobs exchanged for digital ones. This mean that televisions, VCRs, DVDs, and the like are going to have to get a small tweak in order to meet the FCC’s demands. Digital will be the word by next February when all analog channels and equipment will have been completely replaced with their digital cousins. This doesn’t really affect consumers very much right now, but I have a feeling that when things start to break it will. Mind you, this doesn’t affect cable right now so there will be some major marketing for analog decoding devices built into electronics like DVRs and such.

New ringtones sound like the savage beast

Monday, February 26th, 2007

It’s true! Non-profit organizations are getting the word heard through their rare ring tones. You can download them for free. There are more projects for cell users in the works. Right now you can get some pretty interesting sounds as ring tones like the hooting of owls, the howl of a wolf, the click of a tree frog, and so many more. You really have to hear them to believe them. It’s all about trying to get people to think about more than just the small pod in which they live. I am going to be looking for eagle screams, myself :D
