Photo fun, digitally speaking
Thursday, September 6th, 2007One of my life passions is taking pictures. I take a lot of them, and many never make the cut into my Flickr account. I am only using an ordinary digital camera to take the pictures, too. It makes me wish I could get into a school like Brooks Institute of Photography so I can get into all the types of digital, visual, and media art there are.
Digital art is a big deal to me. I even use a free rendering program call Apophysis to make interesting fractal art. I don’t even really know all the logistics behind making the art, but I know it’s mathematically based on triangles. I move them around till I get the look I want and VOILA art. Here is an example of the digital art that I have on my files right now:

Nice, no? I did manipulate the image a bit with Fireworks, but only to replicate the image I already rendered. Maybe one day I will be able to study it all and totally understand it.
