Imagine that you are a blogger. You blog for money. You just got hit hard in the last PR drops and you are wondeirng how you are going to make ends meet. Well, Google has come to fix your problems. You have to play the game called “Google Says”.
Google says put rel=”nofollow” in all your paid links.
Google says ask for reinclusion in their page rank databases.
Delete all your links….
ah ah ah! I didn’t say Google says!
Now, for those of you who work in the pay for link industry, you know what this means. Some places you work for will allow you to nofollow your links. They won’t let you delete your links either. Therefore, if you go back through your blogs and nofollow or delete links, you would be violating the Terms of Service of that company. That means they can ban you from working for them and in some cases, sue you for taking the link down or discounting it.
For those of you who don’t know, nofollow is the tag you put into a link that tells the Google spiders not to count that link.
So what do you do? No Follow all your paid links and get your PR back, but lose your job or leave them be as they are and make mediocre money?
Tough decisions at hand.
