Thanks, Dreamhost!

Saturday, January 19th, 2008

for ruining my life. Seriously, I am looking for new hosting. I have a month to do it. Who do you suggest? I am royally ticked off that they did this. The thing that really chaps my hide is that they said they issued a refund. My account says they did. My bank account ? Not so much. Their bogus charge posted yesterday and stole all my money. Fantastic. Now I am going to have bouncing left and right. I hope that the government doesn’t come and arrest me for deliberately bouncing checks. I didn’t do it…Dreamhost did!

Another Camera for me to lose

Friday, January 18th, 2008

I was reading up on the Pentax Optio S which is supposed to be the slimmest camera on the market with the best quality pictures. It has 3.2 megapixels and a large screen in order  to view your pictures. They give you 11mb of installed memory, which is more than a lot of cameras with its megapixels will give.

I am thinking “OMG If I leave that in my pocket, it’s toast!”. I mean, wow it’s so thin I would forget it was there. Even with all its portability, there are still people who say that the camera does not render high quality photos. This is a camera I want to see in action and hold for myself. I know what 4 ounces feels like in my hands so I can just imagine how easy it would be to lose this camera. What do you all think?

Podcast Perfection

Saturday, January 12th, 2008

I am only just getting really acquainted with podcasts and podcasting. I started a podcast of my own on my Bulletproofsoul blog which goes on every Monday.

There are a few other podcasts that I try never to miss. One is posted every Friday and is called the Friday FaveCast. That one is good music, health tips, money tips, and some funny characters. It is a definite must hear podcast which I download every week.

I have just been introduced to the musical joys of Todd Kelley and EJ Flavors (not pictured). These two come up with some hot musical mixes that I am still in awe about after I have listened.

All 3 of those podcasts are musically centered and leave a lasting impression, but there is also a tech podcast that I like to listen to on the regular. Darren Keith comes up with some of the best tech tips, tools, and info. He is always looking for a new direction in which to take his podcasts. He also hosts a pretty nifty tech site.

There are more, but these are the 4 major players that influence my life on a regular basis.
