$100 laptop goes live 2007

Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007

Lots of technology has been spawned for the specific purpose of servicing the long awaited $100 laptop. Well the launch is finally eminent. July seems to be the hot button for launches this year.

The first countries to sign up to buying the machine include Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Nigeria, Libya, Pakistan and Thailand.

It’s funny to think that they are so eager to get people into the Internet on such a broad basis. I hope that with the new technology in their hands they can find ways to make more revenue for themselves and hence become independent leaders in the world markets. I mean that for the individual entrepreneurs as well as the group.

Power for your gadgets

Thursday, December 14th, 2006

Portable power, too. It’s a little generator that looks like a yo-yo. You pull the string for a little while and it will give you hours of power. I think it’s a great idea for pretty much any household. If you would like to check out more information you can. The best thing about the company is that they are giving these generators for the laptops being distributed to under-privileged countries. Such a great concept. Enjoy.
