I know there is a number of people who have waited till the 98th hour to get their taxes done this year. There is no reason to pay an arm and a leg because companies want to gouge you for waiting so long. Conficker attacks April 1 2009

You need to have your Windows updated with the Microsoft patch 958644, which you can obtain from Microsoft proper (make sure you are in Internet Explorer when you do this or it won’t work) . There is more that you can do to prevent and rid yourself of Conficker. Make sure to check out the following:

I am currently updating my system, as somehow I didn’t get all the security updates. I have been avoiding Service Pack 3 for a while, since it has killed so many systems. I am figuring that these updates were probably included with SP3 when I got the notification.

I have a good amount of time to find myself a new laptop or netbook. I am still debating whether or not I just want something that has full functionality versus lightweight portability. It’s a struggle to figure out what I want. I have been looking at Best Buy Weekly Specials
in order to help me make my choice. So far, the brands that are speaking to me are HP, Lenovo, and MSI Wind. Which would you choose out of those and why?

Apparently Google has made something else that actually works, and works quite well. I am not talking about Chrome (that thing is at least 35% FAIL). I am talking about their new video and voice chat. A friend of mine who blogs The Black Tech Report has tried it himself and finished it out with a rave review.
